Antique Primitive Large Blue Spatter Enamel Graniteware Agateware Coffee Tea Pot

Product description

Antique Primitive Large Blue Spatter Enamel Graniteware Agateware Coffee Tea Pot

Early Antique primitive large blue spatter enameled graniteware coffee/tea pot pitcher from an unknown American producer, c.1870-1890. Hinge-lid. Large handle. White enamel interior. Light blue and white spatter finish covers entire exterior and underside. A darker blue color lines both the spout and top edge's outer rim. Unmarked item.

Measures 9 1/2" High x 7" Long (including handle & spout) x 5 1/2" Wide.

Fair to good. Piece shows common wear and age-related issues: rust, minor nicks, and a corroded interior. Rust shows at the connection of the handle and body, lid's hinge, tip of spout, underside, and interior. Nicks/dents around the bottom edge. Tight handle. Lid's hinge is loose (can be removed) and is only connected via a tiny L-shaped piece of metal. Age considered, the exterior isn't in such bad shape.
